IT/Technical Support Specialist ( Broadcast and Systems )
We are a family- owned business soon to be celebrating our 80th anniversary in August and owned by the same family since 1946. We have two FM stations and a heritage AM station along with five digital properties. We are located in Eastern Ontario and our modern facility overlooks the beautiful Bay of Quinte and provides a dynamic and creative work environment.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT/Technical Support Specialist to join our team as you will play a key role in supporting both our technical infrastructure and broadcast operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide day-to-day IT support to staff, resolving issues related to on-air systems, computers, servers, phone systems, printers and other devices.
– Support and maintain broadcast facilities, including control rooms, studios , and three transmitter sites.
– Perform system maintenance , updates, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation across all stations.
– Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
– Assist with set-up, configuration, and maintenance of broadcast and IT systems.
Qualifications
– Diploma or degree in Electronics Computer Systems, Audio Engineering, broadcast systems, or a related field.
– Strong technical knowledge in both electronics and IT systems.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Powershell , Linux , and Windows Server.
– Excellent communications and problem-solving skills.
– A valid drivers licence.
