Ruby Rose has accused Katy Perry of sexually assaulting her nearly 20 years ago at a Melbourne nightclub. Perry’s representative strongly denied the claims, calling them false and harmful. A former manager of the club said both women were drinking heavily that night but did not witness any assault, adding they spent most of the evening in a VIP area and were escorted out together. Rose shared graphic details of the alleged incident on social media and said she kept it secret for years, claiming Perry had offered to help her career. She also said she has now filed a police report and will no longer comment publicly while the matter is investigated.

Nicole Kidman has revealed she’s training to become a death doula during a talk at the University of San Francisco’s War Memorial Gym on Saturday. The actress says the idea “may sound a little weird” but that she was inspired by her mother Janelle Ann Kidman’s passing in 2024. She shared that during her mother’s final days, “she was lonely,” which made her wish for someone who could “sit impartially and just provide solace and care.” Kidman explained this new path is “part of my expansion and one of the things I will be learning.” Death doulas are also known as end-of-life doulas. They provide support to people, as well as their loved ones, toward the end of life. According to the International End-of-Life Doula Association, they advocate “self-determination and imparts psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and practical care to empower dignity throughout the dying process.”
Jake Paul says he’s not retiring and plans to return to boxing in late 2026 or early 2027 after recovering from a jaw injury suffered in a loss to Anthony Joshua. He’s eyeing big future fights, possibly including Francis Ngannou, and says the break has renewed his motivation to keep fighting.
Netflix is canceling Selling the City after one season to focus on Selling Sunset as its main real estate franchise. Other spinoffs are also being paused while Selling Sunset Season 10 moves into production.
Bell has acquired the Canadian rights to Saturday Night Live through a deal with NBCUniversal. The show will now air live on CTV and stream on Crave, with episodes available on demand the next day. Corus will keep airing the rest of the current season on Global until May 16. Crave also recently added Saturday Night Live UK.
