Alright, have you seen what’s going on over on Sesame Street lately?
Because Cookie Monster is officially in his pop star era.
There’s a new Sesame Street album on the way called Parody Party, and it does exactly what it sounds like: it takes massive pop hits and gives them a kid-friendly, Muppet-style remix.
And leading the whole thing? None other than Cookie Monster himself.
He’s released a track called “Take a Bite,” a playful parody of Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might.” But instead of romance, late-night vibes, or smooth confidence, it’s all about one thing: cookies. No subtlety. No restraint. Just pure, unfiltered cookie obsession.
Honestly, it’s kind of perfect for him.
And if you’ve ever watched Cookie Monster over the years, you already know the philosophy: it’s not “sharing is caring,” it’s “I saw a cookie and made a life decision.”
The rest of Parody Party leans just as hard into the concept. The album is packed with Sesame Street twists on modern pop culture moments, including RAYE getting the Muppet treatment with “Where Is My Lovie?” and a Chappell Roan-inspired potty-training anthem called “Got to Go.”
Even Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen get their own Sesame-style reworks.
It’s chaotic in the best possible way.
Parody Party drops July 26.
