The city of Belleville hosted the Accessibility Excellence Awards last night to recognize individuals and businesses that go beyond legislated requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal welcomed Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Committee Councillor Barb Enright-Miller to the MIX Morning Show.
Councillor Enright-Miller explained how these awards highlight local leaders who actively remove barriers, promote inclusion and support accessible communities.
