Today, Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal welcome Dr Julie Gowthorpe RSW to Studio 97 to talk about a dating and relationship topic that a lot of people have lived through, even if they did not have a name for it at the time: Breadcrumbing.
Breadcrumbing is where someone gives you just enough attention to keep you interested, but never enough to build anything real.
So while romantic relationships are where people talk about breadcrumbing the most, it can also show up in friendships and at work too.
They keep you interested, available, or hopeful, but they do not back it up with action.
