Quinte Conservation has installed a Wind Phone at Sidney Conservation Area — a quiet space designed for reflection,
connection, and healing for those who are grieving.
Located at the end of a newly created trail beneath a canopy of towering trees, visitors will find a hand-carved phone booth containing an unconnected telephone.
On Tuesday, Mariam Serkal and Greg Moulton caught up with Tammy Smith, corporate services manager at Quinte Conservation, who explained how the Wind Phone can help people with the grieving process after losing a loved one.
