The Royal Canadian Legion is committed to making a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, providing essential services in our communities, and remembering the men and women who sacrificed for our country.
In Belleville, there are over 280 members in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99, headquartered at their new location in the Old Shrine building along Highland Avenue.
Earlier this morning, Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal welcomed Mike Benson, president of Branch 99, who explained that the Poppy Campaign was very successful this year.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s Poppy Trust Fund provides financial assistance and support to veterans, including Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP members, and their families in need.
Funds are used for immediate assistance, such as food and shelter, and for programs like medical research, educational bursaries, and community support services
