Bill Cosby is back in the news, and unfortunately it’s serious stuff. In a sworn deposition, he admitted he obtained quaaludes with the intention of giving them to women to have sex. That testimony is tied to a lawsuit from a woman who says she was drugged and raped in the early ’70s. Cosby is now trying to have the case dismissed, but that admission is doing him zero favours.
Graham Norton says he’s been invited to the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding. He confirmed it on his podcast, then immediately joked that he can’t say a word because he’s signed “so many NDAs.” Taylor teased it months ago by saying, “you’ll know,” which somehow feels like the most Taylor answer possible. They got engaged last August after two years together and announced it as “your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
NFL fans are stunned after Bill Belichick didn’t make the Hall of Fame on his first ballot. Six Super Bowl rings, zero gold jacket… for now. Players like J.J. Watt and Patrick Mahomes called it shocking, fans are calling it criminal, and Belichick is reportedly disappointed. Patriots fans are currently yelling at clouds.
Sydney Sweeney has launched her own lingerie brand called Syrn. She says it’s lingerie you wear for yourself, no explanation needed. The line covers four vibes — Comfy, Playful, Romantic, and Seductress — with the first drop leaning very much into Seductress. It offers 44 sizes and focuses on comfort. Oh, and she teased it by hanging bras on the Hollywood Sign, which the city is now investigating… because apparently even Hollywood has limits.
King Charles has added a new ride to his collection — a $218,000 electric Lotus described as “silent but deadly.” Which sounds less like a car and more like something from a Bond movie. His car collection is now worth about $15 million, so yes, the crown is doing just fine.
Gene Hackman’s Santa Fe home has sold after just 11 days on the market. The property was listed around $6 million and was last renovated back in 1990. It was once featured in Architectural Digest and comes with a lot of history.
Stephen Colbert now has an official end date. The final episode of “The Late Show” will air May 21. Colbert says now it finally feels real, with just a few months left. He’s been hosting since taking over from David Letterman in 2015, and late night is about to feel very different.
“Ted Lasso” is officially coming back this summer for season four. Jason Sudeikis is returning, but this time Ted will be coaching a women’s football team in the second division. Expect optimism, bad decisions, and at least one speech that makes you feel things.
Ryan Reynolds is reportedly gearing up for another “Deadpool” movie. Yep, number four. His team says it lets him return to the role fans love most, which is code for sarcastic jokes in a red suit.
And finally, the “Dirty Dancing” sequel is officially happening. Jennifer Grey is back and will star and produce. Filming starts later this year. No word yet on the story, but one thing’s guaranteed — nobody is putting Baby in a corner.
