Belleville’s Downtown Blues Festival kicks off tonight and runs until Saturday, with various acts performing at the two-day event.
Downtown Blues not only supports blues music and the musicians that engage in this genre, it is also a Blues For Food movement helping to provide nutrition to families and kids experiencing food insecurity in the Belleville area.
Musician Matt Smith will performing with his band on Saturday September 6 at the main stage, Intersection of Bridge St and Front St, from 12:30 pm – 2 pm.
Ahead of his performance, Matt joined Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal to invite MIX Nation to Blues Fest.
