Happy Gilmore 2 is breaking records — 46.7 million views in just three days on Netflix. That’s the biggest U.S. debut for a Netflix film ever. Sandler still got it!
And speaking of Happy Gilmore 2 — there’s a touching tribute in the film to the late Cameron Boyce. If you blinked, you might’ve missed it, but fans spotted a scene showing his Disney show Jessie playing in the background. Adam Sandler made sure to honor him, and also gave a sweet nod to Chris Farley in another scene. Classic Sandler — laughs and heart.
And finally, Netflix is working on a new Pride and Prejudice series. Emma Corrin is Elizabeth, Jack Lowden is Mr. Darcy, and Olivia Colman is Mrs. Bennet. No premiere date yet, but based on the cast, it’s already giving drama, corsets, and unspoken tension.
