This afternoon on Mix 97, Justin Anderson had the absolute pleasure of chatting with Rae from Tiny Horse, and let us tell you—this band is not your average musical ride.
Tiny Horse is what happens when contradiction becomes an art form. Imagine Lady Gaga wandering into a small-town bar, picking up a guitar, and belting out a heartbreaker. Or think ABBA if they wrote “Night Moves.” It’s glam with grit, disco with depth. One part party, one part poetry.
Talking to Rae, it’s clear that the band lives in the in-between. It’s introvert and extrovert. Slow burn and sudden spark. A wallflower swaying gently under the disco ball. Tiny Horse isn’t trying to fit into one genre, one box, or one vibe—they’re capturing what it feels like to be human, contradictions and all.
