Four years ago today, COVID-19 was officially declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
It is hard to believe that it has been 4 years; it feels like yesterday but like forever ago at the same time. Over 760 million cases and 6.9 million deaths have been recorded worldwide since December 2019, but the actual number is thought to be higher.
During the show this morning, we talked about what it was like for my family to move across the country, being stopped at the border, having to explain why we were going to be in the province, and when we were leaving. Also, just to enter the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, we have apply to enter!

Also, how school was for children! Some kids graduate high school without ever really being in high school! Or like my daughter, who started kindergarten wearing a mask and socially distancing. It has affected many people in many different ways and still does to this day!
