Have you heard about this survey conducted by Travelers Canada? Apparently, they asked people about their driving habits and found out that some of us are seriously living on the edge.
According to the survey, 25% of respondents admitted to multitasking while driving even though they knew it was dangerous. I mean, come on people, do you really need to put on your makeup, eat your breakfast, and shave all at the same time? Leave the circus acts to the professionals, will ya?
But wait, it gets better. The survey found that 63% of people talk on the phone while driving. Hey, I get it. You want to catch up with your bestie or argue with your ex while stuck in traffic, but maybe save the drama for your next Zoom call instead?
And if that’s not bad enough, 56% of people look at directions on their devices while driving. I mean, who needs a co-pilot when you’ve got Siri, right? But let’s just hope Siri doesn’t lead you straight into a tree, because that would be a real buzzkill.
So, let’s all make a pact to put down the phone, and let Siri take a break while we’re on the road. Because let’s face it, there’s enough crazy drivers out there without us adding to the chaos.
