Laura Walton, the president of t he Canadian Union of Public Employees’ (CUPE) Ontario School Board Council of Unions, was in conversation with Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal.

Shortly after, Sean and Mariam got further info from Katherine MacIver, Director of Education and Secretary of the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board. Katherine said the board will be prepared to guide students and their families through looming job action at the provincial level.

David DeSantis​, Director of Education at Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, spoke to The Morning Crew, and explained how the school’s laid out a plan ahead of the looming strike.
