Greeting from Quinte Gardens,
As many are aware our Quinte Gardens family is currently in its very first COVID outbreak and our residents and staff have been diligent in protecting each other but we just couldn’t push through this wave of COVID 19 untouched. We are incredibly strong together but right now we need to remain six feet apart!
Before I write about our request for “Letters with Love”, we want to make sure that everyone is aware that our residents are incredibly strong and many are asymptomatic. Our staff, what can we say… AMAZING, DEDICATED and they are digging in deeper than many of them thought they had in their hearts! We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of them! We are following Public Health regulations and we can see we are turning the corner but we have a ways to go.
Our residents are missing the community they love so much and have been so involved in, many for their entire lives!
I have a huge request from YOU, workplaces, schools, colleges, really anyone who is willing to write a note, letter or email of encouragement! They need this now more than ever! They put on a strong front but we know they need to read and hear your encouragement knowing we are waiting for them to bust out of this COVID outbreak and safely see their loved ones, friends and the community!
These don’t have to be fancy long notes, a simple “We/I am thinking of your”, “Stay strong” anything you send us will give them strength, knowing they are loved and we are waiting for them!
