The Belleville Santa Claus parade will be a special one as the festivities return to an in-person event after an altered drive-by format last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Sunday, November 21, Quinte residents can once again line the streets to catch a glimpse of the jovial big fellow as he trundles through the city.
According to a staff report that will be before Belleville council Monday, the parade will begin at the fairgrounds on Bridge Street West at 4:30 p.m.
It will then go east on Bridge Street to the Bayview Mall.
The staff report reads that attendance is estimated around 7,500 people along the parade route and says the festivities will feature 60-plus registered floats, bands and other entrants.
