Do you love your partner, but need your space when it comes to bedtime? Turns out you’re not alone because new research just came out that proves why you have trouble sharing the bed!
According to the research, most of the reasons why you have trouble pretty much boils down to if they go to bed as the same time as you, but here was there breakdown of it all:
- Their Body Temperature Is Disruptive – No matter how many fans your turn on, you can’t regulate how hot or cold your partner’s body temperature is.
- They Have Trouble Sleeping – Studies show that when couples share a bed, they’re more likely to share similar sleep patterns. So if they don’t sleep like a rock, neither will you.
- You Have Different Circadian Rhythms – Having a synced-up bedtime is much better for intimacy so if you go to bed at different times you could wake each other up.
- Them Moving At Night Messes With Your Sleep – Having incompatible sleeping positions can also make it difficult to drift off or stay asleep.
- Their Electronics Mess With Your Sleep – If they need a phone light to find their way to the bed then that light is definitely affecting your sleep.
