Get ready to take another step into the future/ a Black Mirror episode because a designer has just revealed his “third eye” device that will help people avoid walking into things while looking at their phone!
The South Korean industrial designer created the “third eye” to help with distracted walking as part of his Phono Sapiens project and it essentially attaches to your head and uses sensors to detect upcoming obstacles in your way.
When the device detects something less than two meters away, it sends an alert on your phone to look up and move out of the way.
As of right now, the “third eye” device isn’t for sale, but something tells us that people would actually pay for this and look really weird in public! You can see what it looks like below!
