We’re in a new year, which means we need to start forgetting about the chaos that happened in 2020, which is why Lake Superior State University in Michigan has come out with their annual “Banished Words List” to help us move on in 2021.
Lake Superior State University’s list of words often includes certain words that people used too much in the prior year and out of 1,450 words and phrases that were nominated, 250 were related to the coronavirus, which is why it took the top spot for banned words.
