Online shopping is the way most of us are doing are shopping thanks to the pandemic and Amazon, but even though we’re doing a lot of shopping, we’re also spending a lot of time debating on buying things or not online!
A new poll finds that the typical online purchase can take up to three hours for a user to first click on the item and then eventually buying it from whatever website they are on.
Apparently every online shopper also does the following steps when making their purchase:
- Deciding on a need for something, which takes 35 minutes.
- Searching for the product you want including social media sites, which takes 33 minutes.
- Reading online reviews and going through recommendations, another 29 minutes.
- Comparing product to other similar products for price and quality, which takes 31 minutes.
- Sharing links with friends and family, 14 more minutes.
- Putting something into your online or real-life basket, another 19 minutes.
- Actually making the purchase, 24 minutes.
How many times have you done all of the above when trying to buy something? For us this is happens almost every day!
