This NEEDS to be turned into a movie because we would totally watch it!
A group of grandmothers is going viral for taking it upon themselves to protect their Japanese village from a recent onslaught of feral apes and calling themselves the “Monkey Busters!”
The women have taken to patrolling their neighborhood in Fukui, armed with air guns and dressed in aprons, to help prevent monkeys from attacking their town’s crops which has been a problem since 2015.
In an effort to keep the apes at bay, area officials began teaching villagers how to rid themselves of the pests. The Monkey Busters were among the first to take the monkey-ridding course in March, and have since fearlessly spearheaded the effort.
The only movie I'm interested in seeing in 2021 is clearly MONKEY BUSTERS. https://t.co/zcqC9oZQEL
