Thanks to needing to wear masks in the COVID-19 environment, we are all starting to realize just how bad our breath smells. The upside is, we are understanding the need for dental hygiene more, too.
A new survey has revealed that almost 50% of those surveyed realized how bad their breath was for the first time due to mandatory mask guidelines and have actually started brushing their teeth/using mouthwash more often because of it.
The new oral hygiene issue is leading to all kinds of dental disasters like decaying teeth, receding gum lines and seriously sour breath.
Some of the best ways to combat the bad breath is to drink more water, cut back on caffeine, use a humidifier, use mouthwash, scrape your tongue more often, and try breathing through your nose more!
