The Swedish government is funding an experiment that will pay someone $2,320 a month to do nothing for the rest of their life.
The employee’s only requirement will be to clock in and out of a train station every day. The selected “worker” will be free to do whatever they want during work hours.
The job will begin in 2026 and includes raises and vacation time. Applications will be accepted starting in 2025.
Now that sounds like a gig?!
