Family-owned canning business Sprague Foods celebrated its 100th anniversary – it was was founded by J. Grant Sprague in 1925 in the Bay of Quinte.
On Friday, Sprague Foods President Keenan Sprague joined the conversation with Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal to explain what makes the company tick after all these years.
The Sprague Foods factory in Belleville, Ontario, produces 50 different canned goods specializing in organic soups, beans, chilis, and, more recently, products in glass jars.

The facility can process 350 cans per minute and operates around 30 distinct product lines.
