A developing story — actor Timothy Busfield, who you might remember from Thirtysomething and The West Wing, is facing more allegations after that recent child sex-abuse charge in New Mexico. Police say at least four women have now come forward claiming he sexually assaulted or harassed them between the early ’90s and 2017. Busfield has pleaded not guilty and denies the accusations.
Meanwhile… Britney Spears is back in the headlines again. Sources say she’s reportedly resisting treatment after that recent DUI arrest. People close to her are hoping she changes course before her court date, because apparently showing the judge she’s getting help could make a big difference.
In lighter news — Travis Kelce has a brand-new gig. He’s now the face of Six Flags. The NFL star invested in the company last year and now he’ll be popping up in ads and social media campaigns.
Kelly Clarkson might be heading back to what she does best — music. Reports say now that she’s stepping away from her talk show, she’s getting a bunch of recording offers. She’s also planning a Las Vegas residency starting in July, which is a lot easier than touring when you’ve got kids at home.
Stewie Griffin from Family Guy is getting his own spinoff series called Stewie. The show will follow him in preschool with time travel, new characters, and kind of a “Magic School Bus” vibe.
Netflix is also moving forward with a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters. The first movie became Netflix’s most-watched film ever, so yeah… a sequel was pretty much inevitable.
