First up, “Hoppers” hopped its way to the number one spot at the box office this weekend. Which is impressive… because if a movie can get people off the couch and away from Netflix for two hours these days, that’s basically a miracle.
Sad news out of Hollywood — Jennifer Runyon, who you might remember from Ghostbusters and Charles in Charge, has passed away at 65 after a brief battle with cancer. She also popped up on shows like Quantum Leap and Beverly Hills, 90210. Later in life she actually stepped away from acting and became a teacher.
Now to some secret celebrity romance…
Sources — and the gossip account DeuxMoi — say Tom Holland and Zendaya may have secretly tied the knot in Lake Como a few weeks ago. Apparently it was super low-key, small ceremony, very private… basically the exact opposite of every Kardashian wedding ever.
Meanwhile… some scary news involving Rihanna. Police say a woman fired several shots at Rihanna’s L.A.-area home while the singer was inside. The suspect had reportedly been posting strange messages about Rihanna online beforehand. She’s now facing attempted murder charges and is being held on more than $10 million bail.
Over in paparazzi drama… Justin Bieber had a bit of a moment Friday night leaving Sushi Park in West Hollywood. Cameras were waiting in the parking garage, Bieber got annoyed… and tossed a Fiji water bottle toward the photographers before jumping in the SUV. Nobody got hit — but it definitely wasn’t exactly a spa-day vibe.
And speaking of chaotic headlines… things around Britney Spears reportedly got messy after she sold her music catalogue for about $200 million. Insiders claim the payday attracted some questionable new “friends.”
It also comes after her recent DUI arrest… and now authorities are testing pills found in her possession to see exactly what they were.
Quick sports-meets-pop-culture update… Travis Kelce is reportedly not retiring and plans to return to the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2026 season. Which means yes… we could be getting another year of Taylor Swift in NFL luxury boxes.
Across the pond… Prince William went viral after helping take phone orders at a bakery in Cornwall. At one point he misheard a customer’s name and thought she said “Juicy” instead of “Josie.”
To be fair… if the future King of England calls you Juicy, you probably just go with it.
And finally — Terry Crews is now adding children’s author to his resume. His new picture book “Terry’s Many Hats” comes out April 7… proving the guy can host shows, act, work out, and now inspire kids.
Honestly at this point I’m convinced Terry Crews doesn’t sleep.
And if you’re looking for something new to stream — “War Machine” starring Reacher’s Alan Ritchson just dropped on Netflix.
