Students from the University of Illinois are manning the school’s annual Dial-A-Carol Hotline, where volunteers sing to callers.
The hotline works for about one week, where callers request songs, and volunteers sing them live – with no recordings allowed.
Today on the Morning Show, Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal call up the hotline with a special request.

The free hotline is open 24 hours a day at 217-332-1882.
The amateur, heartfelt performances hopes to boost spirits, even during student finals.
