This year, more than 500 families have registered with Quinte West’s Adopt-A-Child Program – and over 1,800 children need help.
Lisa Triemstra, coordinator of the Adopt-A-Child-Program, called the MIX 97 Morning Show and told Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal how adopting a child or donating to the program is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference this holiday season.
Lisa also stressed that the program aims to ensure that every child receives new indoor clothing this Christmas.
