Love was definitely in the air at Udderly Ridiculous Farm this past Friday! Two miniature Highland cows, Muriel and Rhett, tied the knot in what might be the cutest wedding you’ll ever hear about — complete with animal guests and all the farmyard charm.
Muriel looked stunning in a white gown and flower crown, walking down a grassy aisle to meet Rhett, who was rocking a traditional Highland kilt like a true gentleman. The farm’s co-owner Cheryl explained that Muriel needed a “future boyfriend,” so they found the most handsome mini Highland boy nearby and raised them together. Basically, farm dating at its finest.
After so many visitors kept begging for a wedding, the staff decided to make it official with written vows. When Rhett was asked if he promised to nuzzle only Muriel and share his hay, he responded with a loud and enthusiastic “I moo.” If that’s not true love, what is?
The ceremony even had a surprise appearance from Queen Victoria the goat and her kids, and the crowd clapped, tossed a bouquet, and snapped photos like it was the social event of the season.
The happy couple sealed the deal with a playful head-butt—because what else would Highland cows do?—and then headed off to their honeymoon stall, with hopes of a little calf joining the family in about nine months.
Who knew farm life could be so romantic?
