Retired journalist and two-term Belleville Councillor Chris Malette is the new Member of Parliament for the Bay of Quinte riding.
Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal called Malette to wish him all the best on his new role.
Malette unseated Conservative incumbent Ryan Williams.
