Its been four days and residents are still reeling from the aftermath of last Sunday’s ice storm.
More than 50,000 homes and businesses were left without power in the Quinte region as damage to power lines continued due to the buildup of ice caused by the storm.
Long-time listener Heather Wilson, who lives between Stirling and the Campbellford area, called Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal to share her story of how she survived living without power for over 60 hours.

Outages were scattered throughout the area, including in Prince Edward County, Quinte West, rural Belleville, Centre Hastings, Brighton, Campbellford, Tweed, and Tyendinaga/Deseronto.
