More people are choosing to be single so this means there are less people on the dating market. In a 2022 Pew study, showed, this is a lot, 57% percent of singles were not looking for a relationship or casual dates.
Research also showed that singles looking for dates decreased from 49% in 2019 to 42% in 2022. Men in particular reported that they were not looking for a relationship or even casual dates.
The average success rate of finding partners through dating apps is only around 12%, according to a 2020 Pew Research Center study.
