So, here’s the latest buzz. Scottie Scheffler’s gotta be feeling some relief because those assault charges against him got dropped. Turns out, there wasn’t enough evidence to stick, which kinda backs up his story that it was all just a big misunderstanding. Apparently, he got caught up in some craziness outside a golf event, where he allegedly dragged a cop with his car. Scheffler’s defense? He claims he didn’t even know it was a cop and was just in a hurry to hit the course. Talk about a wild turn of events. And get this, despite all that drama, he still managed to pull off eighth place in the tournament! Meanwhile, the cop’s catching flak for not having his body camera on.
Switching gears, Alec Baldwin’s Rust case is still making headlines. The judge ruled to keep that involuntary manslaughter charge stickin’ for now. But Baldwin’s legal team’s not throwing in the towel just yet. They’re still gunning to get that charge dropped before his trial kicks off in July.
Then there’s Diddy. Man, he’s got a heap of trouble on his plate. A grand jury’s gettin’ together for this federal probe into him, and it could lead to some serious criminal charges. They’re prepping witnesses, including folks from sexual assault lawsuits against him. The Justice Department’s in full swing, collecting evidence left and right. And apparently, there’s some recent footage floating around showing Diddy’s alleged misconduct. Talk about a hot mess. Remember that thing with Cassie? Footage showed him getting physical, but no charges came outta that due to some statute limitations.
And J.Lo’s not exactly having the best time lately either. Her $90 million Vegas residency deal’s apparently on shaky ground ’cause of poor album sales and canceled tours. MGM’s sweatin’ bullets, watching her road gigs tank. Not a good look when you’re about to hit the Vegas stage.
Now, onto lighter stuff. Jason Kelce’s been kickin’ it in Jersey, having a blast, or so it seems from his vacation recap. But hey, not everything was sunshine and rainbows. There was apparently some drama with Kylie and a not-so-friendly fan, but Kelce’s keeping it positive, focusing on the good stuff like beach time, good eats, and family fun. And it sounds like they might just make a comeback soon, especially with a free meal offer from the Mayor of Margate in the cards.
Lastly, Jerry Seinfeld’s got some thoughts on manliness. He’s all about that traditional masculinity vibe but admits he’s not exactly the poster child for it. He’s looking back at the good ol’ days, reminiscing about the manly figures he admired, and taking a swipe at the lack of ’em nowadays. And he’s not shy about sharing his take, even if it’s on controversial turf. Recently, he’s been praising Hugh Grant’s manly qualities in his new Netflix comedy. Gotta hand it to Seinfeld, he’s not one to hold back.
