First off, happy birthday to George Clooney, who’s turning 63 today
Ryan Gosling’s latest flick, “The Fall Guy,” didn’t quite soar at the box office. It fell short, earning only $28.5 million domestically against a hefty $140 million budget. Overseas, it managed to rake in $25.4 million, bringing its total debut earnings to around $65 million. Tough break, right?
And then there’s Kim Kardashian. She faced a pretty tough crowd at Tom Brady’s roast. Can you believe she got booed during her monologue? Ouch. Even the MC wasn’t holding back, taking shots at her left and right. But props to Kim, she handled it like a pro, dishing out her own jabs and eventually winning over the audience with applause. Talk about rolling with the punches!
Switching gears, it looks like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be missing from the 2024 Met Gala guest list. They both declined their invitations, citing conflicting schedules and commitments. But hey, Taylor’s album is still killing it on the music charts, so she’s definitely not missing out on the spotlight.
On the royal front, Prince Harry’s extending an olive branch to his family by inviting them to his Invictus Games in London. But don’t hold your breath for any family members showing up. Harry’s still hopeful for a reconciliation, especially with his brother Prince William, but it seems like there’s still some distance to cover. Last time he saw his dad, King Charles, was back in February.
And then there’s Britney Spears, setting the record straight about a recent hotel incident. She’s denying it was a “breakdown” and instead blames a foot injury. Britney even took to social media to address the issue, claiming harassment and feeling mistreated. Despite the concerns swirling around her well-being, she’s brushing them off and even shared a video of herself horseback riding. You go, Brit!
And last but not least, Pauly Shore is stirring up some controversy with his Richard Simmons biopic. He’s moving forward with it, whether Simmons gives it the thumbs up or not. Shore’s pretty adamant about it, declaring, “I’m also gonna be starring in the Richard Simmons biopic…whether he likes it or not.” Looks like we’ve got some drama brewing in Tinseltown!
