68% of adults feel just as self-conscious as they did in their teens. A survey of 2,000 adults ages 25 to 45 found that they were still insecure about their body shape, hairstyle, and smile.
Only 30% of respondents stand in the front row in group photos, yet 70% feel they’ve had a glow-up since being a teenager.
People still want to improve their eyesight, fashion, physical fitness, and smile.
“People feel more confident when they can fully express themselves. That includes being able to smile without restraint or embarrassment,” Dr. Zachary Casagrande said.
