India has officially joined the lunar club! Yep, you read that right. India just nailed a moon landing, and it’s time for the big players like the USA, Russia, and China to make some space, because India is sliding right into fourth base!
Let’s give a huge shoutout to the Indian Space Research Organisation, because they totally rocked it. They skillfully maneuvered their spacecraft to touch down near the moon’s south pole – talk about boss moves!
Now, why is this landing spot so darn thrilling, you ask? Well, word on the street is that there might be some seriously cool frozen water hanging around. And that’s not all – there’s potential for generating oxygen to do a bit of moon-breathing (how cool is that?), and even snagging some hydrogen for fuel.
Meanwhile, while all this lunar excitement was happening, India’s Prime Minister was busy with a summit down in South Africa. But you know what he did? He took a moment to give India a virtual high-five and said, “Hey, India, I’m super proud of you!”
