Hey, look who it is! It’s May, the sneaky little month who loves to catch us off guard. But you know what? We’re not even mad, because you’ve got some seriously cool stuff in store for us this time around.
First up, we’ve got King Charles getting officially crowned this Saturday.
And sports fans, you better buckle up because the NBA and NHL playoffs are happening all month long. Plus, we’ve got some major events like the Kentucky Derby, the PGA Championship, the French Open, and the Indy 500 to keep us on the edge of our seats.
Movie buffs, prepare to geek out because May is bringing the heat! We’ve got “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” hitting theaters this Friday (finally!), and get this – we’re getting the TENTH “Fast & Furious” movie. TEN. That’s just bananas. Plus, Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid” is swimming into theaters too.
TV fans, mark your calendars for the “MTV Movie & TV Awards” on May 7th, and the return of “America’s Got Talent” on May 30th. And don’t forget to bust out your best Jedi moves for “Star Wars” Day on May 4th (May the fourth be with you, always).
Oh, and let’s not forget about Mother’s Day on the 14th – don’t forget to spoil the moms in your life! Plus, for all my fellow Canadians, May 2-4 is coming – time to bust out the ‘Bud Light’ and fireworks.
But wait, there’s more! Apparently, some parts of Ontario are in for a surprise with unexpected snow (Not us!). So if you’re planning any travel, keep an eye on those forecasts.
