In a video that’s been going viral, you can see the zookeeper trying to pat the panda’s back to dislodge the carrot, but when that didn’t work, he had to lift the 500-pound bear and give it a makeshift version of the Heimlich maneuver. It’s amazing to see how the same technique that saves human lives can also come in handy for our furry friends!
Zoo officials say that the panda is known for being a bit of a troublemaker, but after this incident, they’ll definitely be keeping a closer eye on it. Who knows what kind of mischief it might get up to next!
