MIX 97 and Team Tim McKinney of Remax Quinte launched Home For The Holidays, and the response has been phenomenal.
In the past few weeks, listeners excitedly sent their stories to MIX97 in hope of having a loved-one flown into Quinte for the holiday season – or have someone sent home to visit their family anywhere in the world.
Suzanne Scrutton, from Belleville, was on air this morning and announced as the winner of Home For Holidays.
Mix 97 got Suzanne’s daughter Rebecca on the line, and gave them the biggest surprise ever.
Rebecca is 26 years old, and has been teaching English as a second language in South Korea for the last six years.
Their reaction was priceless!
