Laura Walton, the president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE’s) Ontario School Board Council of Unions, called The Morning Crew ahead of the possible teacher’s strike.
On Monday the union representing the workers — (CUPE) — said its members will walk off the job Friday, regardless of Ontario’s proposed anti-strike legislation, which was tabled Monday and invokes the notwithstanding clause to block job action by the union.
