Plenty happened at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. T-Swift took home her third Video of the Year Award for All Too Well, Harry Styles picked up a couple of Moonmen including Album of the Year for Harry’s House. Nicki Minaj won the Video Vanguard Award and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were the winners of the Global Icon Award. Lizzo, Dove Cameron, Jack Harlow and the Weeknd also took home statues. There were performances by Jack Harlow and Fergie, Eminem and Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, Panic at the Disco, Bad Bunny and more. Also making appearances during the show were Cheech and Chong (who presented RHCP with their Global Icon Award) and, for some reason, Johnny Depp who appeared as a Moonman.
Check out Lizzo’s performance below and Taylor’s surprise announcement as she accepted her Video of the Year Award (spoiler: she’s got a new album coming out in October!)
