We’ve heard of white noise & even brown noise helping you fall asleep, but now there is PINK noise to help you sleep. There are some sleep experts that suggest that pink noise could help you blockout noises that distract you.
Ok, so what is pink noise? Examples can be found in nature and include: waves crashing, heavy rain, a waterfall, etc. According to a sleep medicine expert with the Cleveland clinic, Michelle Drerup, psyD, “Pink noise as compared to what we typically think of as white noise is that the lower frequencies tend to be more prominent with pink noise. White noise is more balanced across all frequencies.”
According to a study, you can get more “stable sleep” when you listen to pink noise.
