We love our craft breweries in and around the Bay Of Quinte region, but this brewery in Finland is gaining attention because it’ using goose poop in its new beer and customers apparently love it!
Ant Brew is a microbrewery in Lahti, Finland and for the past year they’ve had a line of beer called the “Wasted Potential” series where they use wild herbs and food waste in the beer as part of their green efforts; however, their latest beer actually recycles goose poop to smoke the malt used for the beer.
Apparently, the goose poop is collected from local parks to help clean the parks and then used in Ant Brew’s beers. As of right now the beer isn’t set to release until the end of the summer, but we have a feeling that we’re going to pass on trying this microbrew!
