Getting a scholarship is no easy task and usually when you get one you hold onto it as much as you can, but a high school senior in Massachusetts is going viral for what she did with her scholarship at her high school graduation!
Verda Tetteh was award the general excellence award from her high school and was given a speech during the graduation ceremony. Instead of thanking her friends and family, Verda used her time to let everyone know that she was donating her $40,000 scholarship that she was originally going to use at Harvard to a community college student in need.
Verda has other scholarship money saved up for Harvard and she wanted to help another student in need because her mom attended a community college back in the day and she wanted to make it easier for a future student.
You can see the video of her speech below, but this girl needs to be given another scholarship for being a nice person!
