We see a ton of hacks on TikTok pretty much every time we log on, but we wanted to share this NEW hack for anyone who accidentally gets locked out of their home without their keys!
All you need is a plastic lid like from a Tupperware container and you’ll be able to get back inside your home and get your key. You can watch the TikTok below in case you’re a visual learner, but here is what you need to do:
- Take a picture of your house key next to any coin
- Lose your keys (aka the worst part)
- Place a piece of tape over your phone and the coin to match it up to the same size of the coin in your photo.
- Trace the size of the key on the tape
- Put that tape on your plastic lid and then cut the key trace
Now hopefully you have all those things in your car because apparently it works and the original TikTok has been viewed over 4 million times so it has to work!
