You might want to slowly phase out using the “crying with laughter” emoji if you don’t want to show your age because a new report claims that Gen Z is done with the emoji because too many old people use it!
According to a recent report from Emojipedia, younger generations, like Gen Z have stopped using the emoji because it is associated with older people or their parents.
In place of “crying with laughter” Gen Z is using a “skull” or “coffin” emoji, to symbolize something so funny it caused them to “die” of laughter. They’ve also gone back to abbreviations, using lol or lmfao again.
While the “crying with laughter emoji,” is the most used emoji on Emojipedia it might not be for much longer!
