Even though your mom and dad would probably disapprove, it turns out that swearing may actually be a sign of intelligence!
According to new research at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, having a knowledge of swear words can be tied to having better overall language skills. Essentially this means that knowing when and where to use swear words is tied to a larger social intelligence.
