Whenever you go into a new restaurant it can be a little intimidating to find something you like from the menu, which is why a Chinese restaurant in Montreal decided to “do away with the formalities” and create an “extremely honest” menu with descriptions for each menu item.
The restaurant is called Cuisine AuntDai and is getting a TON of new business for its menu that features honest commentary from the owner for each dish like how it’s Orange Beef “isn’t THAT good” compared to the restaurant’s Sweet and Spicy pork strips.
At the same time, in the description for the restaurant’s Satay sauce beef the owner admits that they “did NOT have a chance to try” when they wrote the menu description.
Since a customer first tweeted about the restaurant last week it now has over 71,000 likes and you can see screenshots of the “honest menu” below!
