We can all agree that music has healing powers without us even realizing it and a video of a former ballerina diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease is going viral by proving that theory!
Former ballerina Marta C. González recently passed away after battling Alzheimer’s disease, but in honor of her a video is now going viral that shows her recalling the upper-body choreography of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake from her wheelchair.
The video, which you can see below, was shot last year by Música para Despertar (Music to Wake Up To), an advocacy group for music therapy, and recently posted to the organization’s social-media accounts and has now amassed over six million views so far.
