Get ready to no longer need to hunt down your good pair of headphones and regret losing them before a long road trip, because a new device that’s currently being developed could send audio directly to your ears without headphones!
Noveto Systems is currently working on its “SoundBeamer 1.0,” which looks kind of like a wireless speaker, but instead of sending audio to everyone in the room, you can program it so that it sends specific audio to just your ears.
Apparently the device uses a ‘3-D sensing module’ that tracks ear positions and then sends the audio signal to a person using ultrasonic waves. Essentially it’s creating an imaginary headphone of audio right next your ears!
